We all know that Sivakarthikeyan started working on his next film titled 'Maaveeran' directed by the National Award-winning director Madonne Ashwin (Mandela fame) in August month. Meanwhile, the movie's shooting, which was going on in full swing, was halted last week abruptly.
While the actor's recent release 'Prince' ended up as a forgettable outing, several reports were saying that the shooting was stopped after creative differences between Sivakarthikeyan and the director. However, sources tell us that the reason for the interruption in filming is the heavy rains in Chennai.
As per the latest reports, the 'Maaveeran' shooting has resumed today. After debuting in 'Viruman', Aditi Shankar is playing the female lead in this film which stars director Mysskin as the villain and veteran actress Sarita as SK's mother. Comedian Yogi Babu and popular YouTuber Monisha Blessy are also acting in pivotal roles in the movie.
Produced by Shanthi Talkies, the technical team includes Bharath Sankar as the music director, Vidhu Ayyanna as the cinematographer and Philomin Raj as the editor. The team has already completed 40 percent of the shooting and is planning to wrap the entire filming withinn 2022. The Tamil-Telugu action thriller will hit the screens in 2023.
