We all know that Simran was a leading actress in South Indian cinema in the 2000s. She shared a post on social media yesterday to remember her late sister, Monal. Fans are consoling the veteran actress through comments.
Monal was Simran’s younger sister and a well-known actress who appeared in notable Tamil films including Thalapathy Vijay’s 2001 film ‘Badri’. On 14 April 2002, she committed suicide at the age of 21. Her lover, a famous choreographer was accused of her suicide.
Yesterday, Simran shared an old photograph of herself with her sister Monal on her 21st death anniversary. She wrote on social media, “In loving memory of my beautiful sister Monal. You’ll be never forgotten. #sisterlove??” (sic). On the work front, she will be next seen in Chiyaan Vikram’s spy thriller ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ directed by Gautham Menon.
