Simbu is currently busy juggling between the shoots of multiple promising projects in the pipeline. Meanwhile, the actor's political thriller 'Maanadu' is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on November 25. The latest report is that the second trailer will be revealed along with the songs.

Now, the producer has confirmed that Maanadu will have an audio launch event soon. The big news is that a new trailer of the film will also be released at the function along with the songs. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the album and background score. The event date will be disclosed by the production house sooner.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by V House Productions, it is the first political time loop movie in India. The makers earlier released a song, teaser and trailer from the film which got a positive welcome from the fans and the critics. Maanadu is carrying a lot of inception as it is the first collaboration of STR with the distinctive filmmaker Venkat Prabhu.

The plot focuses on a time loop happening for a commoner and a cop around the chief minister's political meeting. Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the female lead opposite Silambarasan. Maanadu also stars SA Chandrasekar, YG Mahendran, Vagai Chandrashekhar, Premgi Amaren and Karunakaran.
