Simbu to reunite with his blockbuster hit director before Desingh Periyasamy project?

Simbu is in Bangkok right now busy with his martial arts training and also simultaneously completing the dubbing for ‘Pathu Thala’.  We reported to you earlier that he will return to Chennai on March 10th but before that info about his immediate projects are spreading like wildfire.

As reported by us first to you Simbu has reportedly okayed a new project produced by Kamal Haasan and directed by Desingh Periysamy of ‘Kannun Kannun Kollaiyadithaal’ fame.  Read : Simbu to team up with Kamal Haasan and Anirudh for the first time? – Hot buzz   It was earlier said that this would Simbu’s 48th film but now there is a different news coming in which is as exciting if not more.

According to the buzz the Kamal-Simbu-Desingh project will be ‘STR49’ as it requires extensive planning and budget.  Sources say that Simbu will immediately start shooting for a new movie to be directed by Venkat Prabhu for producers AGS Entertainment.  The combo gave ‘Maanaadu’ in 2021 which is one of the biggest hits in Simbu’s career which also brought back VP as a strong commercial director.  The official announcement is expected by the end of this month.

It is worth mentioning that earlier there was a buzz that Sivakarthikeyan and Venkat Prabhu will be teaming up for AGS Entertainment.  It is said that though this combo is very much on it will happen only in 2024.
