Music composer turned actor Vijay Antony is teaming up with the talented director Vijay Milton of Goli Soda fame for the first time. The dynamic combo is coming together for the upcoming film titled 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan' which is said to be a sequel to Vijay Antony's 2014 film 'Salim'.

The shooting of Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan is currently in the final stages as the filming has been going on for the last few months. Sarath Kumar, the veteran Tamil hero and the supreme star of Kollywood, is playing a pivotal role in this project. Also, Captain Vijayakanth was rumoured to make a cameo but it was denied later. 80% of the shooting is over and will be wrapped up soon.

Now, the latest news is that Simbu and Dhanush movie actress is roped into the cast of Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan. The enchanting beauty Megha Akash will be essaying the female lead role opposite Vijay Antony in this film. The heroine paired with Simbu in Vandha Rajavadhan Varuven and Dhanush in Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta earlier. The movie’s producer Dhananjayan confirmed that she will be playing an important role.
