This hit comedy director to make a biopic of Silk Smitha!

Way back in 2011, Bollywood actess Vidya Balan played the lead in the movie “The Dirty Picture” which was inspired by the life of south actress Silk Smitha and the movie won her a National award for Best actress.

Now Kollywood is getting ready for a biopic of the most celebrated actress and it has been revealed that this new biopic of Silk Smitha has been titled Aval Appadithan. Aval Appadithan will be directed by KS Manikandan who had earlier directed the Santhanam starrer comedy hit Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya.

Aval Appadithan will be produced by Gayathri Films Chithra Lakshmanan and Murali Cine Arts H Murali and the shooting of this biopic is planned to begin in November. As said by director Manikandan Aval Appadithan will showcase many unknown events in the actress’ life and will have many in-depth details. The actress playing Silk Smitha and the crew details will be revealed soon.
