A new Pan India Media IP is to be formed in the film industry. For this initiative, the founder of SIIMA and CCL, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, joins forces with Alankar Pandian of Invenio Origin. The collaboration of these giants will result in the formation of the new Pan-India media IP Indian National Cine Academy (INCA).
The South Indian International Media Awards (SIIMA) is completing 12 years and the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) is gearing up for its 10th season. Invenio Origin is a media investment fund based out of Singapore and Dubai. Now, they are embarking on the new venture INCA, which will be mounted on a mega scale.
The Indian Film Industry works in 10 different languages and over 1000 films are produced every year. Indian National Cine Academy (INCA) plans to bridge the gap between the various film industries in India and help in collaboration between the industries. INCA will be the biggest celebration of Indian cinema, bringing together artists and filmmakers from different languages all over India. INCA will have participation from the Hindi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, and Gujarati film industries in the initial years.
Vishnu Vardhan Induri, the founder of CCL & SIIMA, said, “The success of films like Baahubali, KGF and Kantara across the nation proves that good content has no language barrier. At INCA, we would like to play a catalyst for Inter Industry Collaboration where actors and technicians from different industries work together, erasing language barriers.”
Alankar Pandian, the managing director of Invenio Origin, said, “Invenio Origin’s significance is its global presence, which has the ability to navigate diverse landscapes, fostering innovation and cultural exchange. Launching INCA would ensure economic growth on a scale that transcends borders, creating a tapestry of interconnected opportunities and shared progress.”
The objectives of INCA are as follows:
• Indian films are rich in content, and some small films get lost without the deserved recognition. INCA help producers showcase their content to key stakeholders across languages and platforms, thereby giving them access to sell their films in other markets.
• Helping Artists get opportunities in other languages by creating a universal database of all artists across languages based on various categories.
• Regional Cinema has talented technicians, and INCA would like to showcase their talent to the rest of the country.
• Writers can submit their stories, which will be registered with the Writers Guild and kept on a platform for filmmakers (Producers or Directors) to review and request a full narration.
