After the pan-India blockbuster Mirai, People Media Factory is gearing up to present another much-awaited musical romantic entertainer — Telusu Kada. Starring Star Boy Siddu Jonnalagadda in the lead role alongside Srinidhi Shetty and Raashi Khanna, the film marks the directorial debut of popular stylist-turned-filmmaker Neeraja Kona. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the prestigious People Media Factory banner, the film is all set for a grand theatrical release on October 17.

The songs from Telusu Kada have already turned into chartbusters, while the teaser has created tremendous buzz among audiences. Talking about the project, Siddu shared that Neeraja Kona narrated the story to him nearly a year and a half ago. Instantly drawn to the plot, he felt the characterization could be strengthened to bring out more depth and intensity. Since Telusu Kada was planned right after the massive success of Tillu Square, Siddu wanted his next character to be more powerful and layered — something that would stand out both emotionally and conceptually.

He revealed that his character in Telusu Kada will surprise audiences with its complexity and unpredictability. “It’s a strong role with shades that will definitely shock people,” he said, adding that the film also carries elements of humor and realism. Siddu described his on-screen persona, Varun, as an ordinary man with radical thoughts — someone who challenges conventional beliefs about relationships, love, and life.

Telusu Kada explores the themes of love, marriage, and family dynamics in a refreshing and contemporary way. According to Siddu, nearly 80% of the film comprises completely original scenes that audiences haven’t seen before in Telugu cinema. “Neeraja has designed every character with great strength and purpose. Raashi and Srinidhi have very powerful roles, and even then, the hero’s character stands on its own with an edge,” he noted.

The actor praised Neeraja Kona’s vision, describing the film as bold, thought-provoking, and emotionally rich. He stated that the film’s dialogues about life and relationships are “hard-hitting and deeply relatable.” Siddu emphasized that Telusu Kada is not just a love story but a cinematic experience that could define a new genre in Telugu cinema.

Addressing recent online speculation, Siddu clarified that all scenes shown in the trailer — except one featuring Viva Harsha — are part of the final cut. “Nothing was made just for the trailer. What you see is what you’ll experience on screen,” he confirmed.
