Director Shankar's ambitious project 'Enthiran 2' is going to be launched today. The film marks the return of Superstar Rajinikanth and the maverick filmmaker combination after a brief gap of five years. The film is tipped to be a sequel to the duo's sci-fi thriller 'Enthiran' which released in 2010.
Shankar is currently busy finalizing the special vehicles for the film. Reportedly, he has pumped in Rs 1 crore each for about 10 vehicles for the film. Likely to be made on a staggering budget of Rs 250 crore, the film would showcase Shankar's 'I' heroine Amy Jackson as a Robo.
Shankar, known for making films with grandeur is leaving no stone unturned to make 'Enthiran 2' a visual spectacle. Rajinikanth would be seen in a new avatar and recently the Superstar had undergone a make-up test for his role in US.
