Silambarasan has made a great comeback with his blockbuster film 'Maanaadu' written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film is receiving overwhelming reviews from fans, critiques and members of the film fraternity.

Recently ace director Shankar took to his Twitter and praised the whole team of Maanaadu. He wrote, " #Maanaadu Brilliantly written & directed by @vp_offl. @SilambarasanTR_ Rocks! @iam_SJSuryah Marvelous! @thisisysr music was Elevating! All the actors and technicians are at their best! The time loop drama worked out fantastically. An entertaining & new experience for Tamil Cinema," In reply to Shankar's tweet, Venkat Prabhu, Silambarasan, and SJ Suryah have thanked him for his appreciation.

Maanaadu stars Silambarasan, S. J. Suryah and Kalyani Priyadarshan alongside S. A. Chandrasekhar, Y. G. Mahendran, Karunakaran,Premgi Amaren and Anjena kirti in supporting roles. The film's music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography handled by Richard M. Nathan and editing done by Praveen K. L.

On the other hand, Director Shankar is busy shooting for his upcoming film RC15 with Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The film also stars Anjali and Jayaram in prominent roles. Shankar is expected to resume works for Indian 2 after completing RC15.
