Dhanush’s D54 Wrap: Crew Celebrates with Cake Cutting!

Following the massive success of ‘Por Thozhil’, director Vignesh Raja is helming actor Dhanush’s 54th film (D54). After several months of intense filming, the team has officially announced that the shoot is now fully completed.

Mamitha Baiju, who became a South Indian sensation through the Malayalam film ‘Premalu’, stars opposite Dhanush. This marks a significant direct Tamil debut for her.

Photos and videos of Dhanush, Mamitha Baiju, and director Vignesh Raja celebrating the wrap-up by cutting a cake on set are currently going viral on social media.

The film is produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International.

Dhanush’s frequent collaborator, G.V. Prakash Kumar, is composing the music. Expectations are high as this successful duo reunites once again.

Since Vignesh Raja’s previous film ‘Por Thozhil’ was a gripping crime thriller, fans expect ‘D54’ to feature an equally thrilling and innovative plot. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Jayaram, Suraj Venjaramoodu, K.S. Ravikumar, and Karunas.

With filming wrapped, post-production is set to begin shortly. The makers are reportedly planning to release the movie in February 2026.
