Shakira harassed by stalkers after her separation from Gerard Pique

Shakira and football player Gerard Pique announced their split after 11 years of togetherness earlier this month and now reports suggest that she is being harassed by the stalkers who have been sending her letters to her residence.

According to reports, Shakira’s family have even gotten in touch with the police and filed a complaint about her being harassed. Fans have been reported sending her harassing letters asking to marry her at her Barcelona home.

The duo met in the 2010 South Africa World Cup when Gerard was featured in the singer’s music video for Waka Waka. Shakira and Pique share two sons, Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7. The former couple first confirmed their relationship in March 2011. The couple announced their split in a joint statement that said, “We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”

On the other hand, Shakira is busy judging her new reality show, Dancing With Myself alongside Nick Jonas and Liza Koshy with host Camille Koste. Shakira recently also shared a funny video on her Instagram with co-judges Nick Jonas and Liza Koshy.
