Director and actor Sasikumar's debut Subramaniapuram had Samuthirakani playing the villain, and Sasikumar as an actor had scored a big commercial success with Nadodigal which was directed by Samuthirakani. The duo later teamed up in movies like Eesan, Poraali, and also in Nadodigal 2.

Even as Nadodigal 2 awaits release, the friends had announced another project and now here's another interesting update on one more project that will have them both acting together. Director Ponram, who is known for his hits with Siva karthikeyan like Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajnimurugan is all set to direct Sasikumar next.

It has been revealed that this movie will also have Samuthirakani and Bharathiraja in key roles. Samuthirakani had worked earlier with Ponram in Rajnimurugan, while Sasikumar and Bharathiraja have worked in Kennedy Club. More details on this Ponram directorial including the production house and the technical crew will be revealed soon.
