'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' is set to hit the screens on May 12. The Andhra Pradesh government has issued an order stating that its tickets can be sold for an extra price of Rs 45 over and above the stipulated admission rates for the first 10 days by all types of theatres in all centres.
The film, starring Mahesh Babu, Samuthirakani and Keerthy Suresh, is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and GMB Entertainment.
Director Parasuram has stated that he included the line 'Nenu Vinnanu, Nenu Unnanu' in the film because he is influenced by Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy's mass appeal. Mahesh says the line in the film in an apolitical context. He directs the line at Kalavathi (Keerthy Suresh) with the sole aim of impressing her.
The film, contrary to speculations, apparently has no banking sector backdrop.
With music by Thaman and cinematography by R Madhi, its pre-release event is going to be held on Saturday evening (May 7).
Also featuring Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Nadhiya and others, 'SVP' has art direction by AS Prakash.
