Thalapathy Vijay's 'Sarkar' has generated a huge pre-release buzz and has the makings of taking in a monster opening at the worldwide box office as the screen count is in the 3000 zones. Industry experts say the film directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures is tracking for a collection of 50 Crores on the first day which has never been achieved in Tamil cinema before.
Meanwhile news from France is that 'Sarkar' has taken the coveted 8.30 pm prime slot at the Le Grande Rex theater in Paris from 6th to 13th November and reservations are on full swing right away. Portugal and Hawaii where a Tamil film is being screened for the first time have also reported a big demand for tickets. The US theater count has already exceeded 200 and in UK. UAE, Singapore, Canada, Malaysia and Sri Lanka are ringing in very encouraging signals for the political thriller.
