As reported by us earlier the ADMK government has taken strong exceptions to scenes depicting the throwing of freebies given by them during elections to a raging fire. Director A.R. Murugadoss himself has acted in the scene and throws an “Amma” mixer, grinder angrily to fire. While ministers condemned the scene, cadres started wide protests in theatres screening the film in many cities tearing up banners and posters of the film.
The breaking news is that the ‘Sarkar’ team has decided to delete the controversial scenes giving in to the pressure by the ruling party. The Distributors Association official Tiruppur Subramanian has confirmed the move. The big buck film is produced by Sun Pictures and directed by A.R. Murugadoss and has Vijay and Keerthy Suresh as the lead pair.
