Sudden raid in ‘Sarkar’ theaters

The tug of war between ‘Sarkar’ and ADMK ministers has escalated during the day as it is being demanded that certain scenes be removed.  As of this writing, the film team has agreed to remove the said scenes from the film as confirmed by distributor Tiruppur Subramaniam.

Meanwhile, there have been sudden raids in theatres playing ‘Sarkar’ in Pudkuottai by government officials.  It is said that the RDO of the zone got information that these theaters were selling tickets at a higher price than the government stipulated one and that’s why the inspections were done.  The officials have warned the theater management that if found to be violating the rules severe action will be taken.
