Ye Maaya Chesave, starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, emerged as the biggest hit in 2010. The movie which was an official remake of Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya is one of the most favourite movies in the Tollywood film industry even now.

Earlier reports suggested that director Gautham Vasudev Menon is working on the script of Ye Maaya Chesave’s sequel. As we all know that the film had the ex-couple Sam and Chay playing the lead role, but many fans wanted not the onscreen magic the pair brought to the film.

Nut according to the latest reports, Rashika Mandanna is most likely to replace Samantha in this movie which is yet to be announced officially. Though this news has come as a shock to Sam's fans, Rashmika's fans are overjoyed to witness the pretty lady in a love story once again.

Apart from Rashmika, names of other actresses have also cropped up Ye Maaya Chesave’s sequel. Reports were doing the rounds on the Internet that actress Anushka Shetty will play the leading lady in the 2nd instalment.
