Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev is in the news for consecrating Linga Bhairavi in Nepal. The feminine divine form is the first of its kind outside of India. The spiritual guru did 'prana pratishtha', which has been described as an evolved mystical process.
"Dominance of masculine means conquest, the Feminine dominates by Embrace. The birth of Devi in Nepal, a wonderful outpouring of love and devotion, is a tribute to the richness of this culture that has kept the worship of the Feminine vibrantly alive," Jaggi Vasudev wrote on Twitter.
The consecration happened on the International Day of Women. "When survival is in question masculine is significant. Only in the feminine becoming significant there shall be a civilization. May the feminine rise to its natural eminence as the Source of Life," he added.
Isha Foundation's efforts have been lauded by their millions of followers.
