Two of South India's biggest superstars Jr NTR and Ram Charan are coming together for the magnum opus film 'RRR' directed by the Baahubali maker SS Rajamouli. The period action drama also stars Alia Bhatt as the female lead and it is slated to hit the screens on 7th January 2022.

Last week, the makers announced that the film's trailer will be launched on 3rd December but the launch was postponed "due to unforeseen circumstances" as per the reports. Now, the official Twitter handle of the RRR movie has updated that the trailer will arrive online on December 9. The team also unveiled a new poster featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan.

RRR is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. Set in 1920, the plot explores the period in their lives when both the revolutionaries choose to go into oblivion before they began the fight for their country. Alia Bhatt is playing the role 'Sita' in this film.

Produced by DVV Entertainment, RRR is all set to release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Shriya Saran, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson are essaying pivotal in the period movie. UK Senthilkumar has cranked the camera while MM Keeravani is composing the music.
