If you are planning to watch ‘Roudram Ranam Rudhiram’ in the first weekend of its release, be prepared to spend more than ever on ticket. The Telangana government has allowed surge pricing beyond the current maximum price of Rs 295 in multiplexes. The Rajamouli directorial hits the screens on March 25.
As per a new government order released today, the ticket price can be hiked by Rs 50 in all theaters on March 25, 26, and 27. It can be hiked by Rs 30 till April 3. The figures are even higher for recliner seats (with the maximum figure standing at Rs 100). The above rates are applicable only for AC theatres, whether they are single screens or multiplexes.
In effect, here are the new rates:
First three days:
Single screens: Rs 236
Multiplexes: Rs 413
After three days and till ten days:
Single screens: Rs 212
Multiplexes: Rs 354
