‘RRR’ heroine Alia Bhatt loses mega project

Alia Bhatt has been going great guns in Bollywood.  And ever since the actress’ name was finalized for ‘RRR’ by SS Rajamouli, she has been a name to reckon with in the Telugu film industry.  

The versatile damsel, this time, is in the news for a sad reason.  One of her biggest projects on hand has been shelved.  It’s ‘Insha-allah’, the Hindi-language costume drama that had cast her opposite her dream star, Salman Khan.  

Director-producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali has stalled the project for reasons best known to him and some close participants like the ‘Dabangg’ star.  As per some reports, the director-hero duo had serious disagreements over certain aspects of the script.  The uncompromising Bhansali decided to stall the project “for now”.  If and when it is revived, let’s hope Ram Charan’s heroine, Alia Bhatt, will get to do the film.
