Robo Shankar, who gained fame after appearing in comedy reality shows on television is now also busy in movies. He has costarred with most of the top heroes including Superstar Rajinikanth, Vijay, Ajith, Vikram, Vijay Sethupathi, Sivakarthikeyan and Dhanush among others.

Shankar is now facing legal trouble after the Forest Department raided his house and confiscated two rare breed of parrots that were raised by him as pets. The authorities have fined him rupees five lakhs as there is no permission to legally house the particular breed.

It is reported that the controversial parrots were gifted to Shankar's daughter Indraja when she was shooting for Vijay's 'Bigil' and hence they were named as Bigil and Angel. Both the birds showed a lot of affection towards the family as they were raised by them for more than four years.

Reports say that Robo Shankar has now gone on vacation to Sri Lanka with his family and the Forest Department officials have said that he will be investigated when he returns to Chennai. Sources say the authorities were alerted by unknown persons who watched a tour of Robo Shankar's house streamed on a YouTube channel.
