Kamal Haasan hosted five seasons of 'Bigg Boss' and he also did the same for the OTT version 'Bigg Boss Ultimate' that is currently streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. A couple of weeks earlier he made the sudden announcement that he is quitting the show due to date clashes with his multistarrer thriller 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Last week Simbu took over hosting duties of the reality show and will continue for the next four weeks when the show will end. Kamal had stated in his press release that he will be back as host for 'Bigg Boss 6'.
Meanwhile actress Vanitha Vijayakumar who walked out of 'Bigg Boss Ultimate' two weeks earlier has raised controversy in her latest interviews. She has stated that the show was being conducted erratically and that the contestants are also behaving badly which caused her mental stress.
Vanitha also hinted that Kamal Haasan also was unhappy for the same reason and thats why he quit the show. She questioned that since the legend himself is the producer of 'Vikram' he can easily adjust dates for it and all the actors and technicians will abide by him.
As if to prove Vanitha's claim, Lokesh Kanagaraj today released a video of Fahadh Faasil shooting a pistol and announced that the shooting of 'Vikram' is wrapped up after 110 days. Vanitha has shared the video and has written "And what did I tell u...my instincts were right...i walked out with a very heavy heart but for a genuine reason...not my league..i hold my high that I trusted my instincts and took a bold move...".
