Ramya Krishnan is one of the few actresses among her generation who has managed to stay on top despite her age. She continues to get meaty roles as witnessed in recent times in ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Thaana Serndha Koottam’. Ramya first met her husband Vamsi Krishna when working with him in the 1998 flck ‘Chandralekha’ and has done only one other film under his direction which is ‘Sri Anjaneyam’ that released in 2004. The couple had even joked in interviews that they will never work together on screen after their marriage.
Now after fifteen years Ramya Krishnan has signed on to play a pivotal role in husband Krishna Vamsi’s comeback film titled ‘Vande Maatram’ that also has Prakash Raj and Avika Gor in the cast. The official announcement is expected soon.
