Rajesh, an actor, ideologist, and popular interviewer, shared insights with Indiaglitz viewers during the Home Tour interview.
“At the age of 15, I dreamt of living in a house like this. I bought an existing house and made changes to suit my preferences. I love spiral staircases. I bought this house mainly for that and then made some modifications.
A scene similar to the one in the movie Paasamalar happened in my life. My daughter left for America, and one day, as I walked down this staircase, I thought of her and cried.
As a child, I had a stammer, but I always dreamed of acting in films. How could I act with a stammer?
I would lock myself in a room at home and practice the famous dialogue from Parasakthi written by Kalaignar [Karunanidhi] over and over. Later, his Tamil writing became instrumental in helping me speak fluently.
I modeled my bedroom after K. R. Vijaya ma'am’s bedroom after seeing it once and wanting something similar.
Once, I took all my photo albums to show Sivaji sir. He asked me, ‘Is it fair for your grandchildren to see all these photos in your house? Shouldn’t my grandchildren be seeing them in my house?’ I immediately handed over all the photos to him.
He shared many more fascinating stories in this interview."
