Lawrence, who is known for his charity works, has lauded the 'Jai Bhim' team and announced that he will be gifting a house to Parvathi and her family. Parvathi is the wife of Rajakannu, a victim of police brutality.
"I am very saddened to know the present condition of Rasakannu's wife Parvathi Ammal who was tortured for a crime she did not commit. I promise that Parvathi Ammal will build a house for her at my own expense," Lawrence stated.
In the past, Lawrence donated money to the tune of crores to help frontline workers, transgenders, and sanitary workers, among others, during the pandemic.
