Kollywood director Durai Senthilkumar will wield the megaphone for a Raghava Lawrence movie titled 'Adhigaaram'. This one marks the return of writer-director Vetrimaaran (who has penned both the story and screenplay for the movie) and producer Kathiresan for the first time in ten years. In the past, Vetrimaaran and Kathiresan had teamed up for 'Polladhavan' and 'Aadukalam', the much-awarded Tamil movies.

The script of 'Adhigaaram' is expected to be promising, considering that it is coming from Vetri, the maker of such acclaimed films as 'Udhayam', 'Kaaka Muttai' and 'Visaaranai' - all well-known Tamil movies. The project has come to Lawrence at a time when he is doing 'Rudhran'.
To be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, the film's rest of the cast and crew will be finalized in due course of time. Lawrence has been cast keeping in view his acting talent and image.
To be made on a prestigious scale, 'Adhigaaram' will be filmed in Malaysia for nearly two months. Following the marathon foreign schedule, it will be shot in several parts of India.
The makers are planning to kickstart the production works later this year.
