The Indian film "Pushpa 2" has surpassed the impressive box-office records previously held by "Baahubali 2" to set a new benchmark. While Aamir Khan's "Dangal" remains the highest-grossing Indian film with a collection of ₹1,950 crore, "Baahubali 2" held the second spot with ₹1,810 crore. However, the release of "Pushpa 2" has reshaped this ranking.
Within 32 days of its worldwide release, "Pushpa 2" has officially grossed ₹1,831 crore, beating "Baahubali 2" and claiming the second spot in Indian cinema's highest-grossing films. Additionally, the film is now India's highest-grossing domestic production, earning widespread acclaim for its extraordinary success.
Trade experts predict that "Pushpa 2" might achieve the milestone of becoming the first Indian film to gross ₹2,000 crore, further cementing its legacy. The film continues to perform strongly in several regions across India, showcasing its enduring popularity among fans.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa 2" features an ensemble cast led by Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, and Jagapathi Babu. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while Sam CS has contributed to the film's background score. Following this remarkable success, no official announcement has yet been made about Allu Arjun's next project, although reports suggest he may collaborate with director Trivikram.
