Puneeth Rajkumar one of the biggest ever superstars in Kannada cinema left his fans in grief passing away suddenly due to a cardiac arrest on October 29th 2021. Celebrities from the entire Indian industry and top stars such as Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi visited his house and paid respects.

Puneet Rajkumar, apart from being a movie hero was a great social worker and with his financial help more than 1800 children were getting education. It was only after his demise that people came to know that he was running several free schools and old age homes with his own money and without publicising it. This gesture earned the late real life hero even more respect from the people.

Puneeth's father Rajkumar was the biggest ever superstar of Kannada cinema and his ancestral home is in the village of Gajanur in the state of Karnataka. Puneet visited the house which is actually more of a hut a few months before his death and decided to turn it into his father's memorial.

Since, unfortunately he too passed away now the work is underway to turn the ancestral hut into a memorial for both Rajkumar and Puneeth. It is worth noting that photos of this construction are also currently going viral.
