Telugu producers have formed an alliance and they have been discussing about how to nove forward with the shoots post lockdown. As lockdown could end by the end of the month May or even earlier, whenever the restrictions are lifted, producers want to go ahead and start filming process.
But for that to be pulled off well, they need some guidelines to adhere to. They have come up with risk management system on sets and outside at offices as well. They have asked each actor and performer to be tested before they walk into the sets.
For directors, writers and assistants, they have asked people to be identified who are unwell and get them checked. As actors and performers can further stop shoots, they made it mandatory for these people to be tested.
Post that they advised producers to give packaged meals on sets and asked almost everyone who can afford to bring their meals from home. They also suggested that the producers before attaining permissions should check the property and see if it is sprayed with disinfectant. For studios, they asked maintenance staff and others from that particular establishment to manage waste along with people on the shoots.
For every department they issued different objectives and small scale productions they have asked producers to restrict the crew to a minimum. And they requested all actors, technicians and crew members to wear PPE kits on sets too, except when performance is happening in case of actors.
They even suggested an emergency medical crew who know at least first aid to be on the sets all the time to see who is unhealthy and prone to diseases to keep others safe in the working environment.
