Producers council announces indefinite strike! details

It is already a known fact that there have been no new Tamil movie releases since March 1. Owing to the standoff between the producers concil and the producers, the latter have even announced that all movie shooting with come to a stop starting March 16.

In an emergency meeting conducted yesterday, the council decided to implement the ‘industry shutdown’ starting midnight of March 15 throughout Tamil Nadu. Moreover, all shootings will be discontinued from March 23 in other states and March 22 abroad. The producers council also has unanimously decided to continue the strike sans a deadline until the issue obtains a proper resolution.
