‘Pregnant’ woman is pregnant with narcotics!

A ‘pregnant’ woman in Argentina is in the news for a curious reason.  She is not carrying a child but several kgs of marijuana.  Because she is not pregnant for real.  Because she is part of a smuggling syndicate.

Getting into the details, a narco smuggling group wanted to smuggle illegal narcotics out of the country.  In order to escape the gaze of authorities at the border checkpoint, one of the women in the gang faked pregnancy.  Marijuana was stuffed into the fake baby bump to fool the officials.

Maybe because the bump seemed unnaturally big, the authorities frisked her, only to find that she was not pregnant but a smuggler!

Reports say that smugglers are finding several ingenious ways to carry out their nefarious activities in Latin American countries such as Argentina and Mexico.
