On eve of Doctor Radhakrishnan's birthday, India celebrates Teachers day today and on the occasion, people have been sharing memories of the teachers who helped and inspired them, on social media.
Actor and politician Prakashraj has shared his memory of Gauri Lankesh, a journalist turned activist from Bangalore. She was an editor in Lankesh Patrike, and was shot to death by assailants outside her home on September 5, 2017.
Prakashraj shared an old photo of himself in his young age with Gauri Lankesh and tweeted "#TeachersDay .. thank you to all my teachers who chiseled me and a special thanks to you my dear Gauri ..for inspiring courage to many. The cowards took you this day three years back .. but your fearless spirit stays with us. Miss you dear #NaanuGauri #justasking".
