Tamannaah had a superb start to the year as her first Tamil release of the year Kanne Kalaimaane costarring Udhayanidhi Stalin and directed by Seenu Ramasamy won her critical acclaim for her acting, while she had sizzled with her glamour in her Tollywood blockbuster F2 earlier this year.

Now, the actress is all set to arrive on silver screens after a break, as Tamannaah's next Devi 2, the sequel to the 2016 horror comedy Devi directed by AL Vijay is all set to release worldwide on May 31. The movie will clash with Suriya starrer, Selvaraghavan's NGK at the box office.

Devi 2 has Prabhudeva yet again paired with Tamannaah and also stars Sonu Sood and Nandita Swetha in pivotal roles while Kovai Sarala has joined the cast playing a humorous character. Sam CS has scored music for Devi 2 which is released by Screen scene entertainment.
