Shobu Yarlagada and S.S. Rajamouli are bringing Baahubali 2` in 5000 screens across the world with 1500 accounting for the USA. The hype and expectation created by Baahubali` part one has skyrocketed the sequel price in all areas of up to three times higher. For example the Karnataka distribution of the first part was sold for 10 Crores while the second has been grabbed for 35 Crores.

A huge uncertainty loomed over the release of Baahubali 2` in Tamil as there was a controversy with distributor K Productions owing Green Productions 17 Crores which they could not settle at the stipulated time. The Tamil Nadu Film Distributors Association, President Arulpathi and Madurai Anbu are said to have worked day and night to get the dispute resolved and K Productions paid 10 Crores and the rest of the money meted out by the distributors. Hence all roadblocks have been removed and the film will hit the screens as planned on 28.4.2017.
