Prabhas’ ‘Adipurush’: Actor who is playing Laxman joins shoot

It’s known that ‘Adipurush’ has been shot since early this month in Mumbai. Prabhas is yet to join the shoot. On Tuesday, director Om Raut welcomed Bollywood actor Sunny Singh to the sets. 

The actor, who is not known down South, is reportedly playing Laxman in the movie. So, he is going to share screen space with Prabhas, who is playing Lord Rama. “Dear Sunny, Thank you again to be there…First day of our new journey together. God willing many more such. Luv, Om,” director Om Raut wrote on social media pages. 

The film will release in August 2022. The VFX-heavy movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series, besides Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. 

Kriti Sanon is rumouredly playing Sita. The news is yet to be confirmed.
