Title & Glimpse Released: Roshan Meka’s Emo Emo Idi Promises a Breezy Gen Z Love Story

The makers of Emo Emo Idi have officially unveiled the film’s title along with a delightful announcement glimpse, instantly setting a youthful and romantic tone. The title itself carries a soft, feel-good vibe, hinting at a breezy love story rooted in modern emotions.

The glimpse begins with a playful conversation between a mother and son, humorously reflecting on today’s Gen Z relationship terminology and the often chaotic dynamics of contemporary marriages. The writing feels light, relatable, and neatly taps into current social trends.

The female lead is introduced in an understated yet meaningful manner — seen listening to a classic old melody on her playlist. This subtle moment beautifully conveys her emotional depth and longing for genuine love, adding warmth to the narrative setup.

Director Sailesh Kolanu, best known for crafting gripping thrillers in the HIT franchise, takes a surprising creative shift with this project. Moving away from investigative intensity, he steps into romantic comedy space for the first time, promising a heartwarming and laid-back entertainer filled with humor and charm.

Roshan Meka plays Abhay, a relatable boy-next-door navigating love in today’s fast-paced digital generation. After making his debut with Pelli Sandadi, he appears confident and charming in this new-age romantic role.

Opposite him, Preity Mukundhan plays Apurva. Her vibrant presence in the glimpse has already drawn attention, suggesting a refreshing pairing.

Music is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, whose soulful touch perfectly complements the film’s romantic world. The breezy visuals are captured by cinematographer Vamsi Patchipulusu, enhancing the film’s warm aesthetic.

Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios, the film is gearing up for a grand Dussehra 2026 release.

With its title and glimpse creating the right buzz, Emo Emo Idi looks poised to deliver a refreshing romantic entertainer for the festive season.
