Fantasy-comedy films have always enjoyed a special reception in Tamil cinema. In that vein, the second installment of the 2017 hit ‘Maragatha Naanayam’, which left audiences in splits, has officially commenced.
Directed by A.R.K. Saravan, the sequel reunites the original cast members including Aadhi, Nikki Galrani, Anandaraj, and Munishkanth. Adding further strength to the lineup, veteran actor Sathyaraj and leading actress Priya Bhavani Shankar have been signed for pivotal roles.
The film’s launch and puja ceremony took place today in Chennai with great fanfare. Several leading stars from the film industry attended to offer their blessings:
