In a recent interview, Pooja Hegde remarked that south Indian films have an obsession with the navel. The star actress made these comments in the context of talking about ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. Pooja’s words have not gone down well with Netizens, who have been trolling her.
In the wake of this, the ‘Radhe Shyam’ actress has issued a statement saying that her comments have been blown out of proportion. “My words in an interview have been twisted and used out of context. You may distort the words but can’t take away my love (of south Indian cinema),” the ‘Maharshi’ actress began saying.
She added that the Telugu film industry is like her life. “Although those who like me and my films know this well, I am issuing a clarification to ensure that there is no room for misconceptions. I will always be indebted to the Telugu film industry. Watch the full interview,” she added.
Pooja’s immediate release is Akhil’s ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’. ‘Radhe Shyam’ with Prabhas will release in mid-2021.
