Q: Are you planning to start dubbing in Tamil
A: No! Not right now. But we'll see
Q: Success did not come easy to you, you have acted in many films and put in a lot of effort to become the actor you are. What has this phase of life taught you?
A: I think it has taught me not to take my work for granted. I am busy all the time and people ask me how I cope with it. But I have also had times when I dint have any work. So I am grateful today to have this opportunity. I feel very happy to invest my time in entertaining people. If someone watches Butta Bomma and smiles it makes me very happy. I have faced failures in my life. So it kind of helps me not to take success very seriously.
Q: What is the Mantra you use to become the first choice and more accessible for directors to cast you as the heroine in all Superstar's films? Only Sri Devi mam had this previlidge.
A: Oh My God! Sridevi mam has been a great inspiration. I have always wanted to be an Indian actor. I feel language should not be a barrier. I started my career in Tamil cinema. I feel very happy that you are going to watch me in Radhe Shyam and Beast. The audience have loved me and have accepted me. I have earned the love of all the audience all over India. So I feel I should not let them down. I feel like it's the biggest compliment I ever received. I am so grateful for the actor and director to repeat me in casting.
Q: Samantha once said being No:1 is not important but being consistent is. What do you think about it? Do you believe in No:1
A: I agree with her. I feel like No 1 is an illusion, it's like Maya. I don't strive for that I strive to create a legacy. Some people ask me how I enjoy success. Honestly, I cant enjoy it right now. I have a long way to go and want to entertain the audience. I want to be an inspiration for young women. We don't make enough stories for women and girls. So I hope I can make some films to inspire and entertain them.
Q: How often do you read feedback from your fans and critiques
A: I Read criticism. There are people who give constructive criticism and some people just trolls and make fun. I have learnt to separate this two. Not everybody can be, please. As long as my fans love me I am happy.
Q: What was your experience working for Arabic Kuthu
A: It was a fun and energetic song. I might have lost a few kilos dancing next to Thalapathy(laughs). He is so cool and chilled out while dancing.
