Mani Ratnam's 'PS1' release date announced with 5 breathtaking first look posters

Mani Ratnam's epic multistarrer film 'Ponniyin Selvan' has been shot in two parts 'PS1' and 'PS2' and is one of the costliest ever in Indian cinema. Lyca Productions has today officially announced that the first part will release on September 30th this year. The surprise updates have come on the special occasion of the birthday of Lyca owner Allirajah Subaskaran.
Along with the release date announcement five breathtaking first look posters of 'PS1' have been unveiled featuring Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha. The films are based on Kalki's classic novel of the same name and is a dream project of Mani Ratnam.
A.R. Rahman is scoring the music for 'PS1' and 'PS2' while Ravi Varman is handling the camera and A. Sreekhar Prasad is the editor. The ensemble cast comprises of Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prabhu, Jayaram, Nizhalgal Ravi, Vikram Prabhu, Ashwin Kakkamanu, Riyaz Khan, Sarathkumar, Parthiban, Prakash Raj and Balaji Shaktivel.
