Salman Khan’s Monster: Vamshi Paidipally Plans 50-Day Action Schedule

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up for some intense action in his upcoming pan-India film Monster, directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The action drama has entered a crucial phase of production, with the makers planning a dedicated 50-day schedule featuring high-intensity, hand-to-hand combat sequences. The film is currently targeting a theatrical release during Eid 2027.

With the final leg of filming approaching, the team is working towards completing the shoot by November before moving into post-production.

Salman Khan Prepares for 50 Days of Intense Action

According to reports, the makers have established a shooting base at a studio in Mira Road, Mumbai, for the upcoming action schedule. The sequences will reportedly focus on close-quarter combat, with Salman Khan taking on his opponents in physically demanding confrontations.

Rather than relying heavily on glossy, effects-driven action, the filmmakers are aiming for a raw and grounded style that places the superstar at the centre of the action. The extended schedule is expected to be an important part of the film’s final shooting phase.

Major Shooting Schedules Completed

Principal photography for Monster, currently known by its working title SVC63, began in Mumbai in mid-April 2026. Since then, the film has been mounted on a large scale, with several demanding schedules completed.

In August, the team wrapped up a six-week schedule in Goregaon that reportedly included large-scale action set-pieces, crowd sequences and an elaborate Afghan village set. This was followed by a focused 10-day combat training schedule in Mumbai in September.

The upcoming 50-day action schedule is expected to take the production closer to its planned November wrap.

Salman Khan Balances Bigg Boss 20 and Film Shoot

Despite his television commitments with Bigg Boss 20, Salman Khan is continuing to work on the physically demanding schedule of Monster. The actor is balancing his television responsibilities with the film’s extensive action requirements as the production moves towards completion.

Once filming wraps, the team plans to begin post-production immediately to prepare the film for its intended Eid 2027 release.

Nayanthara and Jackie Shroff Join the Star Cast

Produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Monster features a prominent ensemble cast. Alongside Salman Khan, the film stars Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swamy, Rahul Dev, Ronit Roy and Seema Biswas in key roles.

The collaboration between Salman Khan and director Vamshi Paidipally has generated considerable interest, particularly given the film’s pan-India scale and action-driven storyline.

With its final shooting phase approaching, Monster is shaping up to be one of Salman Khan’s major upcoming projects. If the production schedule proceeds as planned, the film will move into post-production after its November wrap, ahead of its targeted Eid 2027 theatrical release.
