A few weeks ago, Devi Sri Prasad came out with a pan-India pop number titled 'O Pari'. The Rockstar himself composed and sung the song in all languages. The lyrics have been penned originally by Raqueeb Alam. Conceptualized by the 'Pushpa' music director himself, the song is now in the news for a controversial reason.

Senior artist and formr Bigg Boss Telugu inmate Karate Kalyani has lodged a police complaint on the song, saying that the devotional phrase 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' has been deployed inappropriately in the song. She accused the music director of 'Waltair Veerayya' of hurting the sentiments of Hindus.

So far, Devi is mum on the controversy. In the past, several complaints were lodged against particular songs for being offensive or problematic.

Devi will next be composing music for 'Pushpa 2'. "When 'Arya 2' was under pressure of repeating the success of 'Arya', I told the team not to get worked up under pressure. I asked them to be tension-free. I am following 'Pushpa 2' with a similar approach. We were sincere while doing 'Pushpa 1'. We will do the same again. That's what matters," the composer recently said about handling pressure.
