Currently, the deadly Coronavirus pandemic has lead to the deaths of more than 4000 people across India with the number of cases rising to above 1,50,000. Despite the nationwide lockdown in place, there have been numerous cases of violations and police attacks.
While relaxations were announced recently, public are trying to return to normalcy and have started moving out of homes for jobs or native places. Violation of lockdown rules have also lead to several inhuman attacks by police as well and kbe such event happened recently in Madhya Pradesh. A video of two policemen assaulting a young man has turned viral, and this incident happened in Chhindwara district.
The policemen in the video are seen attacking the man repeatedly on his head, neck and body with their lathis and as he falls unconscious he’s being lifted by them and removed from the spot and none comes to help the man who’s attacked. After the video turned viral, the two Policemen – Head Constable Krishna Dongre and Ashish were suspended, informed senior Police Officer Shashank Garg who also added that the man had created trouble which made policemen attack to control him.
