Surekha Vani talks about her future projects

Character artist Surekha Vani is set to get busy once film shootings commence.  Mostly known for Telugu films, she will shoot for a Tamil film later this year.  Besides this one, she awaits the release of another Kollywood outing, for which she had shot before Covid-19 hit India.

“I have signed on the dotted line to act in two new Telugu movies,” she tells Deccan Chronicle.

It has been rumoured by sections of media that Surekha Vani has quit the film industry.   There is no truth in the rumour.  The artist, who often takes to TikTok to post interesting videos, says that she has become more choosy of late.

Her husband breathed his last in 2019 and it was his wish to see their daughter Supritha become a film actress.  Surekha Vani says that she will definitely be debuting in movies if something exciting comes her way.
