Pindam, a riveting horror drama featuring Sriram from Roja Poolu and introducing Dia fame Kushee Ravi in her Telugu debut, is set to send shivers down your spine. Directed by the US-based entrepreneur Saikiran Daida and produced by Yeshwanth Daggumati under Kalaahi Media, the film boasts a stellar cast including Srinivas Avasarala, Ravi Varma, and Easwari Rao, with a scheduled theatrical release on December 15.

The spine-chilling trailer kicks off with a thought-provoking conversation between Srinivas Avasarala and Easwari Rao, delving into the mysteries of spirits, the afterlife, and the quest for redemption beyond mortal existence. The narrative then unfolds in the haunting setting of a deserted 90s village house, where Anthony, accompanied by his wife, two daughters, and mother, embarks on a mysterious journey. Skepticism looms as the elderly woman harbors doubts about the house's ominous history.

The family is soon engulfed in a series of supernatural occurrences, affecting the children and triggering an atmosphere of eerie voices. The arrival of a spirit healer reveals that the house is plagued by multiple spirits, with a cryptic mention of 'mahalaya amavasya' as a pivotal day for safeguarding the life of the younger child.

In the final moments, Easwari Rao delivers a poignant dialogue, emphasizing the futility of restraining an object's internal power, even through physical destruction. Pindam distinguishes itself with a compelling premise, innovative cinematography, and a haunting background score that captivates the audience without resorting to exaggeration or clichés.

The film also features Manik Reddy, Baby Chaitra, Baby Leisha, Vijayalakshmi, and Srilatha, with Saikiran Daida, Kavi Siddhartha, and Toby Osborne co-writing the story. Sathish Manoharan's cinematography adds depth to the visuals, complemented by the evocative music of Krishna Saurabh Surampalli. Sirish Prasad's deft editing enhances the overall cinematic experience. The creators of Pindam are also in discussions with Siddu Jonnalagadda for an upcoming project, promising more thrills and excitement for the audience.
