Pawan Kalyan continues to be filmy

Pawan Kalyan’s charismatic appeal lies partially in his occasional use of cinematic language.  Sometimes, he talks like a politician still under the influence of a filmy hangover.

“They (his rivals, especially Chandrababu Naidu and Jagan Mohan Reddy) may think that I am mellow.  But if you come close to me, you will discover that I can skin you alive!  Don’t mess up with me,” he recently said, calmly, much to the audience’s cheer.  

Days after asking his supporters to never make personal remarks against Jagan and others, the Jana Sena chief also commented that he can dig up Jagan’s past and expose what he did during his University days.  This is both political and filmy.

Meanwhile, the actor-turned-politician continues to demand that Panchayat polls be notified in AP.  It’s said by political commentators that Panchayat polls would be an opportunity for a young party like Jana Sena to build its cadre from grassroots.
