One of the most talked-about films in Indian cinema this year is without a doubt 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' directed by Sachy that starred Prithviraj and Biju Menon. There was a big competition to grab the remake rights of the film in all languages and Five Star Kathiresan got it for Tamil.

It has been rumoured that Sasikumar and Sarathkumar and Arya and Sasikumar are in talks to play the lead roles in the Tamil remake of 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum'. Now its been reported that Karthi and Parthiban have been confirmed to portray the roles of Prithviraj and Biji Menon in the original.

Parthiban has clarified that this news may become a dream come true soon but all have spoken to him regarding the project except producer Kathiresan. So we have to wait for the official confirmation regarding this hot news.

Karthi and Parthiban already costarred in Selvaraghavan's cult classic 'Aayirathil Oruvan' released in the year 2010.
