Pa Ranjith’s next begins shoot!

Director Pa Ranjith, who began his career with movies like Attakathi and Madras, went on to become a sensational director with his views on the society and the discrimination meted out to people and catapulted to the next level of directors, after working back to back with none other than Superstar Rajnikanth in the biggies Kabali and Kaala.
 
The director donned the producer’s hat for the first time last year, as he bankrolled Pariyerum Perumal, directed by debutant Mari Selvaraj and starring Kathir and Anandhi in lead roles. The hard-hitting flick addressed an all-important issue prevalent in the society and went on to become a critically acclaimed as well as commercially successful outing with extremely positive word of mouth.
 
Following the success of Pariyerum Perumal, weeks back Pa Ranjith had announced the second production venture of his Neelam productions, titled as Irandaam Ulaga Porin Kadaisi Gundu, starring Attakathi Dinesh in the lead role. The movie, directed by debutant Athirai Athiyan began shooting today and the movie also stars Munishkanth and Bigg Boss season 2 winner Rythvika, who had earlier worked with Ranjith in Madras and Kabali in a vital role.
